This year, the three day event will be held April 29th-May 2, 2012 at the Breakers in Palm Beach. There will be Leadership Development Workshops, Think-Tank Sessions, One-to-One Meetings, ML100 Case Study Presentations, Networking Receptions and of course, awards at the ML100 Awards Gala.
This 8th Annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit will take manufacturers on a journey into that future by exploring the impact of increasingly flatter and collaborative organizations, new business models to exploit high growth markets, new ways of organizing production globally, build-to-demand supply chains, advanced workforce skills, and the megatrends of the social enterprise, mobility, and cloud computing. All of these will be experienced with the mindfulness of the fact that the choices we make in manufacturing today, will shape the future of manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Leadership Summit will culminate with the 2012 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, at which Manufacturing Enterprise Communications honors the top 100 groundbreaking companies in the industry. 2012 also marks the expansion of the ML100 program to include four new individual leadership achievement awards spanning entrepreneurship, next‐generation leadership and culture, turnaround success, and industry advocacy.
With an action packed agenda and a varitable “Who’s Who” attendee list, this event will not be short-changed on the list of keynote speakers either. The list includes: John Fleming, Executive Vice President, Global Manufacturing and Labor Affairs, Ford Motor Co.; Carlos Cardoso, CEO, Kennametal; Steve St. Angelo, Executive Vice President, Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing N.A. and Chairman, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky and Mississippi; Dave Evans, Chief Futurist, Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group; Mike Molnar, Chief Manufacturing Officer, NIST; and Carol Williams, Executive Vice President, Manufacturing & Engineering Division, Dow Chemical.
