Do you like strawberries? How about a Strawberry Festival?
The Pine Jog Elementary School began this annual festival three years ago and was created to celebrate the harvest of Pine Jog’s 4,000 plant hydroponic gardens and its abundant strawberry crop. The garden is managed by the OWL (Our World Leaders) team, who created a business plan for the garden while learning science, math and business skills. The festival features music, games, fresh stawberries and vegetables, a petting zoo and lots of fun things to do. Pine Jog Elementary invites all of the members of the community to support its biggest fundraising event of the year.
